Social Events for 2008
Pancake Breakfast & Visitor’s Day
Saturday, May 24 from 9 – 10 a.m.
Please join us for pancakes, sausage, and juice. We will have a red ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the pool for the 2008 season. Please feel free to bring someone with you who may be interested in joining our club. We’d love to show them all we have to offer!
Teen Night
Wednesday, July 9 from 8 – 11p.m.
We will serve hot dogs and pop. Teenagers will enjoy an evening of food, swimming, dodge ball, basketball, and volleyball.
We are also looking for a local teen band to perform. If you know a band that would be interested, please contact Melissa Bartram.
Kids' Day
Tuesday, July 15 from noon – 2 p.m.
We will enjoy lots of fun activities with the kids as well as lunch and swimming with friends!
Family Boat Race
Saturday, August 9 from 7 – 10 p.m.
Family teams or individuals will build a boat and oars using ONLY duct tape and cardboard boxes. These boats will be placed in the pool and prizes will be awarded for various categories: best looking boat, boat that holds the most people, boat that floats the longest, boat that travels the farthest in the pool before sinking. So get your thinking caps on and save those cardboard boxes. What a great time this will be!
Ladies’ Night
Thursday, August 7th from 8 - 11 p.m.
A wonderful evening of friendships, music, and food.
Adult Night
Saturday, August 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
